Soju (소주) is a clear Korean spirit, and this strawberry version from HiteJinro is one of its most popular fruit varieties. It blends neutral spirits with strawberry juice and strawberry flavouring for a sweet, ripe-berry taste, and at 13% ABV it is smoother and easier to drink than traditional soju. Serve it well chilled and neat in small glasses, or top it with soda water for a longer drink. It pairs naturally with Korean BBQ, spicy stews and fried snacks.
