Ssamjang (쌈μž₯) is a thick, seasoned Korean dipping paste made from a blend of fermented soybean paste (doenjang), red chilli paste (gochujang), and various seasonings. This classic condiment from Sempio offers a deeply savoury, umami-rich flavour with a mild, pleasant heat and a hint of sweetness from garlic and onion. It is the essential companion for Korean barbecue, used as a dipping sauce for grilled meats like bulgogi and samgyeopsal, or spread onto lettuce wraps.
