Ssamjang (쌈μž₯) is a thick, seasoned Korean dipping paste made from a blend of fermented soybean paste (doenjang), red chilli paste (gochujang), and various seasonings. This classic condiment from CJ Haechandeul has a deeply savoury, salty, and subtly sweet flavour profile with a mild, pleasant heat. It is the essential companion for Korean barbecue, used as a dip for grilled meats like samgyeopsal (pork belly) and bulgogi, which are then wrapped in lettuce or perilla leaves. For a quick and authentic Korean meal, simply add a dollop of ssamjang to your lettuce wraps with grilled meat and a slice of garlic. It also serves as a versatile vegetable dip for fresh cucumber or carrot sticks, making it a staple condiment in any Korean pantry. This product contains SOY and WHEAT.
