Ssamjang (쌈μž₯) is a thick, seasoned Korean dipping paste made from a blend of fermented soybean paste (doenjang), red chilli paste (gochujang), and various seasonings. This classic condiment from CJ Bibigo offers a deeply savoury, slightly sweet, and mildly spicy flavour profile, enriched with the umami taste of garlic and onion. It is the essential companion for Korean barbecue, used as a dip for grilled meats like pork belly (samgyeopsal) and beef, which are then wrapped in lettuce or perilla leaves. To use, simply add a small amount of the paste to your lettuce wrap along with a piece of grilled meat and perhaps some kimchi or sliced garlic for a complete, authentic bite. This versatile paste can also be used as a vegetable dip for fresh cucumber and carrot sticks or as a flavour base in stews. Contains SOY and WHEAT.
