Ssamjang (쌈μž₯) is a thick, seasoned Korean dipping paste made from a blend of fermented soybean paste (doenjang) and red chilli paste (gochujang). This convenient tube from Daesang O'Food delivers a complex flavour profile that is savoury, slightly sweet, and gently spicy, with rich umami notes from the fermented soybeans, garlic, and onion. It is the essential condiment for Korean barbecue, used as a dip for grilled meats like pork belly (samgyeopsal) and beef, which are then wrapped in lettuce or perilla leaves. Simply squeeze a small amount onto your lettuce wrap with a piece of grilled meat and garlic for an authentic Korean BBQ experience at home.
