Miso soup (ε‘³ε™Œζ±) is a traditional Japanese soup made from a dashi stock and softened miso paste. This instant version from Hikari Miso features their Enjuku Koji Miso, which provides a mellow, savoury, and slightly sweet flavour profile with a rich umami depth. The soup includes individual sachets of miso paste and toppings of fried tofu (aburaage), wakame seaweed, and green onions, offering a classic and comforting taste. It's a convenient option for a quick lunch, a light appetiser before a main meal, or a warm, satisfying snack on a cold day. To prepare, simply empty one paste sachet and one garnish sachet into a bowl, add 160ml of hot water, stir well, and it's ready to serve. This product contains SOY and may contain traces of WHEAT (from the miso production process). It is a staple in Japanese households for its convenience and authentic flavour.
