Warehouse Operations Associate
About the Role
You'll be the backbone of our warehouse — running daily operations end-to-end, keeping our inventory healthy, and occasionally taking our products directly to customers and partners around the Randstad. It's a hands-on, varied role for someone who likes both the rhythm of warehouse work and the freedom of being on the road.
What you'll do
- Run daily warehouse operations: receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage inventory accuracy — cycle counts, restocking, and system updates
- Coordinate with couriers and handle outbound/inbound shipments
- Occasionally drive our company van for local deliveries and supplier pickups (a few times per week)
- Help improve warehouse layout and workflow as we grow
- Support the team with general operations tasks as needed
What we're looking for
- Valid driver's license (Category B) — required for delivery duties
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands (EU citizen, valid residence/work permit, or working holiday visa)
- Comfortable lifting and moving boxes up to ~15 kg repeatedly
- Reliable, organized, and able to take ownership of daily operations
- Communicative team player — English or Dutch working proficiency
Nice to have
- Korean language ability (helpful for product handling and supplier communication)
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or e-commerce fulfillment
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or Shopify

About the Role
You'll be the engine that gets our products from warehouse to customer's door. From picking and packing online orders to keeping our inventory organized, you'll play a key role in delivering the Shilla Market experience.
What you'll do
- Pick and pack online orders accurately and efficiently
- Inspect incoming shipments and organize stock
- Label and prepare outbound parcels for shipping
- Keep the warehouse tidy and optimize workflow
- Update inventory data in our system
What we're looking for
- Korean language ability (required — for identifying Korean food labels and product names)
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands (EU citizen, valid residence/work permit, or working holiday visa)
- Able to lift and move boxes up to ~15 kg repeatedly
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-minded
Nice to have
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or e-commerce
- English or Dutch language skills

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I apply if I'm on a Working Holiday Visa?
Yes! We welcome Working Holiday Visa holders. Please note that Korean WHV holders are limited to a maximum of 12 weeks at the same employer under Dutch immigration rules. We're happy to plan a short-term contract that fits within your visa terms.
Do I need to speak Dutch?
No — Dutch is not required, but it's a plus. We work in Korean for product handling and English for general team communication.
Is the role physically demanding?
You should be comfortable repeatedly lifting boxes up to about 15 kg and being on your feet during your shift. We provide proper handling tools and training.
How do I get to the warehouse?
Our location at Legmeerdijk 169D, Aalsmeer is well-connected by public transport — just a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, close to Westwijk Amstelveen. Travel allowance is supported.
